I was very confused when I first started looking at getting a sewing machine. I had some sewing in Jr. High and I used my mom’s sewing machine on occasion but I really was not ready for all the features and technology on today’s sewing machines. I wanted something I could learn on and would not be obsolete just because my skills got better or would limit what I could do. I asked some aunts and my mom but it had been years since any of them had bought a sewing machine. Well I got online and found a terrific review site dealing with the best sewing machine for beginners. It had ratings and features followed by real customers giving feedback on the model of sewing machine they owned. There was pros and cons all around. One comment said that the brother sewing machines worked smoother with brother bobbins as opposed to generic ones. That’s great information for someone like me.
